Zinan Schism
The Zinan Schism was a
divide that formed in the former Zina Empire, arising from a dispute
regarding the succession after the death of Emperor Kora VII in 1072.
Multiple claimants emerged, with three in particular garnering
significant support, forming their own factions; this led to a
three-year civil war, and ultimately to the dissolution of the Empire
and the formation of three new states—Korazin, Serazin, and Ziozin, in 1075.
